I saw a string here not too long ago about hiking from Onion Valley to the Portal. Can't find it using search! If someone has a link to it, could you please post it? Thanks in advance.

Here is a recent post on Onion Valley. I see that somebody else already bumped another topic that was more of interest to you.

To search for Onion Valley, enter "Onion Valley" (in double quotes) in the search field box. Also, you need to change the date range to look for posts over one week old. You also can check out my post on using the search function.

Here is a write up of a hike I did from OV to Cottonwood Pass. That'll get you at least as far as Crabtree Meadows.

Quotes were not a requirement on the original UBB software. The search fearute with the 2007 version is a little harder to use.
