Does anyone know of a place to park an tow behind RV in the Lone Pine area? I have a friend coming next summer to climb Whitney but he and his wife will be traveling with a large tow-behind RV.
Thanks

Also try...

Hope this helps.

Hey, MacroMan, tell your buddy to take his trailer up to the Portal itself! Who cares how big it is - it's been done before:
Start watching this video at the 5:30 mark

And if you're still unsure where Lucy and Desi are headed, then:
Note the specific landmark at the 0:48 mark

(This has been posted here before, but it's still fun to watch.)

Turtle Creek (no hook ups) and Diaz Lake (water hook ups).

They could also get one of the Equestrian sites at horseshoe meadows (at 10,000' if they need need some time to acclimate) Those sites are large enough for a big truck and a horse trailer. It would be a slow haul to get up there, but it is possible.
