Some people have all the fun!

Woah! Ok, I'm going to do that someday. ...Well, maybe in my next life. crazy

Reminds me of hiking Half Dome last summer, in June. At the top of Nevada Falls, I talked with a guy coming down -- He looked pretty sleepy, and I asked if they were at the top to see the sun rise.

It turns out I guessed right. Then he proceeded to tell me about the couple he watched at the top. They were carrying odd looking packs, and wore odd clothing. Inquiring what they were doing, they told him they were Base jumpers about to take the plunge. It turns out they had just gotten married, and this was to be their celebratory jump. He watched them jump and glide down, turning to glide parallel to the Half Dome face for a while, then on down to the meadow area below.

They probably landed and strolled down to the Awahnee Hotel for a breakfast!

Of course what they did is illegal, but I doubt there was a ranger or anyone else watching to see them come down at that hour.

A little reality check: perhaps everyone should view this before donning a wingsuit and taking a jump.
