Hi all,
Well I am going to try again on June the 30th to do it in a day. This time I am going to camp at 10,000 feet for a couple of days to see if that will help with the “fun part of the trip” (from Trail Crest on).
Since I live in San Diego, about 300 feet I need all the help can get.
This will be the last try on this set of knees. I am going the right one replaced in the middle of next month. So it oughta be fun.

Good luck on your attempt. My dad (69 years young), Bill M., and I will be camping at Trail Camp on the 29th and trying for the summit on the 30th as well. I look forward to seeing you out there. Keep an eye out for us and maybe we will all be on the summit together.

I’m only 62. I am in shape, round is a shape right?
We hope to start up from Whitney Portal about 2 AM or so. Don’t know our schedule after that. Just depends on how slow I am.
