Are they out in force yet on the Main Trail?

Heading up on the 5th for a day hike on the 7th.

They are really bad at lower altitudes including the portal and until above lone pine lake. However, at the higher altitudes there are none....make sure and take spray for the lower altitudes though!!!

I was there on the 2nd. The skeeters are a little pesky at the portal, but not terrible. I hiked at 4 am and did not experience any skeeters the whole trip.
