I expect to finish the JMT on 9/5, mid to late afternoon, and need a ride to Lone Pine. Thanks.

A little too soon to tell, but I'm up there most weekends. Ask Doug if I'm around.

If not, it's really easy to get a ride down from someone finishing up a climb.

have you been to Whitney Portal before? seriously, getting a ride into town during the first week of September is, emphatically, a non-issue
