I have some boots for sale too, as well as a bunch of other stuff... what would people think of a marketplace forum to house these kinds of posts?

Trying to figure out relative fit between these and "normal" hiking boots.

Could you say what brand and size of regular hiking boots you wear?

(I have seen a full size difference among different types/brands of boots to fit the same foot, so I'm trying to figure whether these run the same as, smaller than or larger than typical boots.)

Thanks!

Good question. I wear size 9 normal shoes and size 9 hiking shoes (a pair of Kayland Contact boots). If you were to actually measure my feet and use that as a size guide, I would be an 8.0-8.5 but for some reason they always feel tight on me (width wise). With two paris of wool socks on the fit on the Super Ice is a bit tight on the width of my feet, but not the length. With a single pair the fit is good. For the trips I've worn them (whitney x 3, alta peak, and san gorgino) I've worn one pair of wool socks with a liner and haven't had any issues. Or course your feet could be different which is why I'm offering a 7 day return policy (buyer pays for return shipping).

Just to clarify-I use 3/4 length super feet insoles with the Super Ice boots and the stock insoles in the Kayland Contact boots.

It would be cool if there was a place where people can post stuff that they don't need anymore. I'm just getting into the hiking thing so I need lots of stuff. I have been buying some stuff when it is on sale but the equipment is still pretty expensive. I now need to get my hubby stuff. I need pretty much everything for him. He is 5'10 170. So if you got stuff let me know.

Thanks
