Beautiful pictures. They look exactly like the ones I have. We all take pix at the same picturesque areas. I'm going for a midnight start this week if the big hurricane doesn't start t-storms up. I'd like to see the west side from Trail Crest in shade. One poster several years ago took a flash picture of the stone steps up from John Muir Junction, I believe. Much more dramatic than daylight picture. There is a 10 mile marker near the summit on a big square boulder. I believe the sun has to be right to see it. Also consider looking down the chute of the M/R from the summit. I never did, will consider it next time.
