I know this a little off topic, but since some of you frequent posters here have certainly done and might be interested in doing V-notch... anyone here up for V-notch --> Polemonium anytime in Sept 16-19 or 21-24? Anyone have information on conditions? I have screws and rock rack, but I'd prefer your doubles or twins over my heavy single and pull cord setup. I'd prefer to take two days, but I can be convinced to take three, especially if you're keen on a little traversing. I'm based out of LA, so if you live nearby we can carpool; otherwise we can meet on the east side. My experience: lead 5.8 and AI3 comfortably and quickly, 5.9 comfortably but more slowly, and 5.10 if it's not in Yosemite or Tahquitz =). I have also done long routes to D+ in the Mont Blanc massif. Excited to finally be back in my eastern Sierra! -- Hamik
