Headed up the North Forth with Laura and Ellen Saturday morning. Laura had agreed to guide two MR newbies. Having previously summited via the main trail twice, the MR was a completely different experience. More amazing. More beautiful. More exhilarating and challenging. In short, more everything! Umm... that would be me. My motto is that when I hike, I bleed. I have very thin skin -- hardly have to touch anything (rock/brush) to start bleeding. The knee scrape happened somewhere along the way to Lower Boyscout Lake.
