Headed up the North Forth with Laura and Ellen Saturday morning. Laura had agreed to guide two MR newbies. Having previously summited via the main trail twice, the MR was a completely different experience. More amazing. More beautiful. More exhilarating and challenging. In short, more everything! Thanks, Laura! You're the best!

Howdy Melville1955,

Umm... that would be me. My motto is that when I hike, I bleed. I have very thin skin -- hardly have to touch anything (rock/brush) to start bleeding. The knee scrape happened somewhere along the way to Lower Boyscout Lake.
