One of our folks decided to bring their kid. That means Grandpa will be bumped if we can't find a permit.

Sigh.

I have an extra permit for wilderness entry on Monday Sept. 28 for five days, four nights on the main trail. We will be in the WP campground the day and night of Sunday Sept. 27 for some altitude acclimatization and final packing, and on the 26th we will be at the Dow in Lone Pine.
