Doug it was great having you come down south to see Baldy again. Hmm the mountain I mean not me!! Wow what a day, it was great seeing all my old friends again and meeting new ones Wes and Brandon. The WPSMB is really becoming a family not just a bunch of random hikers. I really enjoy these climbs and hopefully will be able to get North more this year to do more of these. Once again great day, Richard and Doug thanks for making the trek down to Baldy to see us, by big brotha Arthur, two beautiful sista's Carole and Mouse thanks for making the drive up from San Diego. C you all next time...

Good times!

Photos.

I'm also a firm believer in the MICROspikes. They're fairly light and so easy to get on and off that there's no excuse for pushing beyond the point that you should have some type of traction device on your boots.

Hey Carole, I'm going to buy a few of your pics now that the only pic of me is not one where I'm inhaling a banana. Great pics...

Hi WPSMB member,
It was a nice surprise to see many familar faces. There were a few highlights of the day. Richard arrived on his motorcycle in style all the way from Ridgecrest. Doug went up the icy slope with microspike. It was amazing to see how well he maintained his body in balance position on very icy and steep slope. Wess was a strong and confident climber. Jeff was a WILD man. Above all good fun time, I was impressed by this group's attitude of caring every member's safety all the time. I noticed this safety concious attitude was in all my hikes with WPSMB members.
Jeff, thank you very much for inviting me.
Carol, we are lucky to have a great phtogragher in our team.
Thank you again everyone and hope to see you on the trail.
I posted the photo at WPSMB link.

It was great to see all of you up there. Carol, I really enjoyed your photos. You have quite the photographers eye. A hearty congratulations to all of you for making the summit in the icy conditions and especially a safe return. It was a great day to gain some experience.

Interesting observations on the microspikes. They served me well last May, I've since gotten crampons - but the microspikes are definately easier to put on/off. Good job on Baldy bowl, looks like you all had a lot of fun smile Great photos, thank you for sharing.
