Mt. Whitney Portal Store & Hostel Forums General Mt. Whitney Portal Store Message Board April Fools climb (sorta)

Anybody else hoping to head up the MR this weekend? Looks like there should be a weather window.

Assuming the weather doesn't cooperate, what other climbs would you all suggest in the area that might go a little better with iffy weather?

I'll be up in Lone Pine on Thurday night, or Friday morning for a climb up the NF. Don't know how far up I'll go 'cause it's still supposed to be blowing hard. New snow might make for some great photo ops though.
