Has anybody been up Russell on the East Ridge lately or have any information about the current conditions?

Have done it a couple times in winter (tried once, completed once), so am kinda familiar with the route. Extrapolating from nearby areas (Meysan Lakes--N ridge of LPP--and Tuttle Creek drainage) I would say expect snow in patches on the ridge. It will feel harder than 3rd class. Trail will be obscured in places so harder than 3rd class detours may be required. In a couple weeks it'll probably be summery and relaxed again. Then again, it might already be summery!
