Hello Doug, does one exist? I have found a handful of videos on YouTube, I figured maybe people would like to share their video links in one place in one thread? Good idea? Does embedding YouTube videos effect bandwidth on the Whitney Portal Store website? I have put a link to a video I just made along with the embedded video. If it's bothersome to embed, I will edit this post and leave the link only. Please let me know.

Hi I think the way you have it linked is fine it loaded fast and should not use storage space on our site as all the photo links go to the source and not stored in our system Great shots I like the window section , gives people a view for reference. Thanks Doug

Awesome, thank you! I figured since the files are hosted by YouTube that it wouldnt slow your site down- at least thats what I've heard. I wasnt sure though.

For anyone who is wondering how I "embedded" my video- underneath the Post: box you'll see Markup with a drop down and using UBBCode by default. Change that to using HTML and UBBCode and highlight the script from your YouTube account.

Like this:

Then paste that HTML Script into your Post and it will show the Thumbnail of your video.

Next question Doug - can this be stickied? And is there any way I could get some of your pancakes delivered to San Diego tomorrow morning? lol jk

I'll also be travelling up to Whitney Portal from San Diego the 3rd week of Sept if anyone is interested in hiking any time that week?
