Anyone else heading up next Monday? DMatt's long-range Eastern Sierra forecast includes a high pressure ridge building back in over the upcoming weekend, and California's active fires don't appear to be pushing smoke in Whitney's direction. Definitely looking forward to a return to the mountain.

I plan on heading up from near Guitar Lake that day. Four of us are coming from Onion valley. Probably be up there around 11am.

2 of us will be heading up from Trail camp on the 15. If you see a couple of farm boys(6'4" 250ish, wearing Iowa State Cyclone gear) say hi.
