Don't superfeet have two different arch heights? I had to abandon my superfeet. They felt great around the house, but not after a couple hours with a backpack. I need metatarsal support to prevent numb toes. I found inserts with metatarsal support at a shoe store where they also do custom orthotics (which I've had in the past but don't really need). The new inserts are also cushier; they have less friction underfoot.
My inserts are (according to the box) Apex Lynco Biomechanical Orthotic Systems L425 with sports top cover, posted heel, w/Met (?), and arch support. I didn't do any comparison shopping. These cost a bit more than the standard superfeet.
Arch supports and metatarsal supports initially felt funny to me, like a lump, but I got used to them and have much less foot pain with them.
