Snowy - At some point after joining Community Webshots (which I recently did - free version), did you ever download and install their proprietary software that allows you to upload multiple photos at the same time, or do you just upload one picture at a time? If you installed their software, is it worth it?

Hope you have a great MR hike! As you know, my turn to do the MR comes next weekend! Woo hoo! Can hardly wait!!!

Bob - As you probably know, my warm-up hike is on Sep 4, and I was already thinking of doing Thor on that date in preparation to do the MR with Richard the next day. What time are you leaving the Portal to do Thor on the 4th? I'm assuming you're dayhiking it. I hope we get a chance to meet!

ouchmyfeet,

I have to admit I have been wondering the same thing. I am happy for her, I just want to know what I will need to do in order to hike half as much as Snow Nymph.

just guessing, give every weekend to the mountains, leave late friday night, drive to the mountains, bag as many peaks as possible before Sunday night, drive home to make work on Monday. Use all vacation time in the Mountains including a few sick days. Hike lite, bag a peak a day. You have to admire the energy she has!

Dave - From my limited knowledge of Snow Nymph, you've pretty much hit it on the head.

All I have to say is that those are some awesome photos of sunset in the Williamsom bowl area. Love the one with Tyndall and the alpine glow. Heard a lot of comments on other sites that the tornado pic was fake. Don't know how it could be fake with all that hail associated with it. I thought it was cool.
