I am looking at an early march climb on the mountaineers route and was wondering if any body has been up the route in the last couple weeks. I was also wondering what the conditions of the portal road were, snow and Boulders?
Flew over the mountain last week...lots of snow past the first big switch back...some bare spots after that on south facing parts but unlikely navigable...not much snow on the chute on the MR...the maintrail is completely visible on the backside above trailcrest...
