I live vicariously through all of you that get out so often.Don't any of you ever stop posting such great stuff.I spent the weekend busting out concrete pool decking to repair a broken water pipe.I got it done and was finaly able to take a shower. At least I got to work outside and enjoy the sunshine.

Hey, it looks like you guys had a great day! After all, how often can you ski from Baldy Bowl all the way to your car at Manker Flat? Sorry I couldn't make it Kurt, but my head cold had progressed into an inner ear problem that I thought would not not be well served by a change in altitude! Great pictures of the skiing action, too.

Ummm... yeah. I think that when I stopped mid-slope during my glissade to laugh uncontrollably I was full of unadulterated, pure joy!

What a day, guys. It was a great warm-up for the rest of the weekend, and I loved doing the bowl for the first time. A few pics:

I just got home late last night, so I'll hopefully get some labels up later. I also have some vid of Patrick's glissade (woohoo!), and the guys skiing down the bowl, which I'll try to get up on YouTube and link here. Rest of my pics are here!

Again, a great day, guys. Thanks for having me along!

Nice Laura, thanks for putting that up. Looks slow, but I guess it's better to be slow than too fast! How was the weekend on Gorgonio?

Kurt, Steve Larson, and Richard making some nice turns in the Baldy Bowl:

If you turn up the volume you can hear Kurt whoopin' it up on his descent (first skier)!!

PF: Jepson and Gorgonio were a BLAST! I'm still pretty tired today, but nothin' a good shot o' scotch can't cure. Those pics are here. I'll post a TR on a few other boards later.

I don't think that anyone ever answered this. It is usually pretty easy to get a group to do Baldy if you can give any advance warning. We can't promise that every hike will be "like this" though. For one thing, Kurt is not always available. frown

Thank you, Alan!!! I will post here when I book my flight and hopefully I will be able to get a group together. And I'll be shooting for a day like last Fri. as I have "good luck" with weather in the mountains (I'm knocking on my wooden desk right now)! Hopefully, the snow conditions will remain good.
