This summit day story is great. I've read over a couple times now and picked up something new each time.
I just have to say how cool it is that we have a friend on this board who's an excellent guide in the Sierra and goes off to places like Everest. Your mountaineering achievements are rare and the way you bring out the human side of it and so willingly and humbly share those experiences with all of us has always been such a treat.
Thanks Kurt for sharing your stories. The next question is when are you doing a slideshow about it???
