I notice a few of you are out along the crest in winter. It would be great if you could send in any interesting wildlife observations -- especially bighorn sheep, coyote (at altitude), weasels, wolverine <!!> or other critters of note. You can send direct to me at my Sierra Nature Notes address:

Are you interested in just the Sierra or nearby areas as well? If not limited to the Sierra, I saw a female desert bighorn near the summit of Corkscrew on Nov 13, 2008. A friend reported seeing a small herd since then as well.
