Either way, they were great words to capture a great event. I was conflicted that my plans to take my nephew up the MR didn't allow me to join the WPSMB crew - but we did get to greet every one as they came down with great smiles of enjoyment and satisfaction!

i REALLY wish that I could have gone on that experience.

And People wonder why I hike.

I agree, it Must have been an awesome experience! Wish we would have joined you all. The pictures as well as the comments tells us that it was an incredible experience! Hope we can join in on the next group hike..... By the way, My husband and I are planning to celebrate his birthday on 10/30, on the Whitney trial, can anyone please tell me if the Portal Store is still open??? It would be great to have a burger before it closes....

I've said if before and I'll say it again. When are you going to write a book? You have a real gift which makes it possible for those reading your trip reports to be there on the mountain with you! I hope you have saved all your posts somehow in a file. You would have a book finished by now.
I am still dwelling on the 17th and telling anyone who will listen what an amazing day that was! I know that God was smiling on us.
