45 years ago? Is that a typo? I always thought you were 10 years younger than RichardP. smile

The Oct 17th date does not work for me anymore.
Decided to visit friends in Vancouver over that weekend.

Hi Jeff,

Shin = Dad and Richard = Evil uncle laugh laugh

No, we are flying back to see the Chargers play St Louis.
We drive to San Diego for all the Charger home games which cuts into climbing time.

On Facebook I posted that a Charger game was Larry and my second date (25 years ago) and MC posted a Charger game was her FIRST date with Dave!!!!

Maybe we can talk MC and Dave to come down for the Charger New England Game. My Dad and I will be going to that game....My biological Dad, not Shin....

Well, now that you've flaked out on 10.10.10, you've got no excuse for not showing up for Mike's birthday and the Thompson's anniversary.

I would be quite interested in joining the hike.

Sneaking in to bump this up to the top again.

Thinking SE Couloir up and down since it was mostly free of snow. (That is if we don't get any more. And I haven't looked at a forecast for a few days now.)

Yes, we're going to start up at around 7:00am.

Final decision on route hasn't been determined yet. Smiley Face may go if it stays warm. SE Couloir will be our alternate ascent route. We'll probably come down it no matter what we go up.

I will be up on the MT Friday and Sat with a large group. I may join you sun morning. If I'm not there by 7 am, don't wait for me. It's possible we could get stuck one extra night on the MT if anyone in the group has difficulty.

Doug Sr. said he would toss in a prime rib if we wanted to do the birthday party (BBQ) down at the Hostel (he won't be there because he's got to pay special attention to Earlene that day), but it only looks like there will be a few of us, so it may just be easier to have food/fun at the Portal Store.

I have a group of four including the birthday boy. I agree if it's going to be a small group then we can just eat at the store. I'll make sure we have cake. Hope to see some familar faces and some new ones Sunday!....................DUG
