Richard, those numbers are approaching the potential for a triple on Whitney. I know that you, Jack, and a few others have made doubles a part of your resumes - is a triple do-able? Ever been done to your knowledge?

Doug has been talking to Jack...
We need him (Doug) to tell the story of the Russian woman...
I'm thinking it's possible (for me) in two baker's dozens (26) hours...

I hope Jack or RK (or anybody else) get it done before I think I'm ready to try...

Hey Richard along those lines I'm in the works of putting together a fundraiser! Of course you know the theme is Baldy 6X. I'll let you know the date, I'm hoping Eric will try and you and Rick will at least show up to say hi!
Once I get a firm date I'll post something, I'm going to try for at least 4 that day!

Hey ALl

FYI looks like the upper road will be closed as of 9pm on
Friday and yes it looks like a total circus on Sat. Riders
are estimated to be in the area around 3pm Sat.

It is just amazing to think that one year ago today, as I type this post, I was at 27,000 ft and on my way to the top of the world! I still look back at it as if it were a dream, but I have the photos to prove it Today Larry and I summited Mt. Baldy to celebrate the anniversary; but unlike Everest, we stood on the summit together!

Still cannot post pics but here is the link to today's summit photo

Hey Richard, Just wanted to say congrads on the many summits. I'm glad it is you doing it and not me. No way. Once is good but then I'm not crazy like you are.

It was good to see you up there and I'm glad that the gels helped.

Hope to do some hiking with ya soon.

M.

Hello. I was hoping to hike Baldy this week but I'm not a snow or ice person. So an update on conditions would be very helpful. Thanks- Mike K.

No issue with snow on Baldy. Did the Bear Canyon, Devil's Backbone, and Baldy Bowl trails all in the last month.

Shin,Darin, Javier and I hit the Baldy trail at 6:45 this morning. Frank A. met up with us at the hut and greenmountain boy and his friend met us at the summit. They went down regular trail and I went down main bowl chute, got to do alot of short glissading as the chute didn't have much snow,(had to change lanes alot)but was fun anyway. Avg snow was 3".. A beauty of a day on Baldy..
