With the JMT mentioned so many times on this blog site, I'm re-reading "John Muir. His Life and Letters and Other Writings."
Please check this book out if you are a reader.
A sample: "There is love of wild nature in everybody...Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares drop off you as autumn leaves... In God's wilderness lies the hope of the world, the great fresh, unblighted, unredeemed wilderness." JOHN MUIR
What an eye opener into this area we all love to hike in.
