I know, I know, be careful for what you wish, but this is stinkin' ree-dunkulous. Although it did make for a nice hoof up the roads in the Whites this afternoon.

Moosie, I always love your pictures, but what I love more is when you take black and white photos......now those are spectacular.

Thanks, Paul! Come to think of it, I haven't shot B+W for a long while, and I was just thinking about it, especially with it being so grey around here today. I just got back from seeing a patient up in Mammoth: fog, mist, drizzle, and almost no snow. I think we'll try to ski this weekend anyway, but I don't know if any pics will come out of it...

I'll play with some of these and see if I can get some monochrome goin' for ya.

Cheers!

Hi OK so when will the road open? Light rain down in town started around 5 AM .I will check the store today and see how much and how low the snow is. Drove back yesterday did the " old days climbing stops " Cedar Canyon , Kolob Cyn ,the Virgin River Cyn and pointed out many of the back roads that lead into climbing spots for Amy and Myles . They are putting in letters for climbing grants so if not this year they can add some more locations in the bag. Cricket mountain ? local boy hadn't heard of that one!!! I was surprized but then when we stopped for dinner I keep calling the place Country Kitchen you know the one with the yellow logo , they have now changed the name to Cracker Barrel!

I like the photos catching the passing storms last week ,we have a system that looked like multi layer but never turn color at sunset

Thanks Doug

Good to see that it's actually cold enough for snow to fall down on the valley floor. I'm curious to see what the far-Southern Sierra will look like this afternoon...

Can you send Myles up to provide a report on the Final 400'?

I'm guessing the Main Trail side will have reports of armpit deep snow in the next few days. ((:-))
