Heading up the MR again.
Doubt a triple or sub-3 is going to happen until this effin heat and humidity from the t-storm activity goes away.
Sweating like a stuck pig at 0600!

Richard had a great time hiking with you and Shin and our new friend Catherine yesterday. Was a great day saw allot of WPSMB peeps. Ran into BurtW, Abraham, couple of my coworkers who are lurkers but haven't signed up yet. Great day and thanks for putting up with my nerdy birding....We saw a beautiful Jay Stellar and a Dark Eyed Junco on the summit. And BTW: Richard has got to be the first guy ever to summit Whitney via the MR and Baldy via the ski hut in a 16hr time frame......Impressive is an understatment, and congrats to Shin for #290

Sitting outside McDonalds waiting for it to open.
As hard as it was raining on the drive up, I m guessing there's going to be lots of new snow up high. Anybody going to make to summmit? Maybe not.

That webcam scene ought to awesome this morning.

Edit. Less than an inch at the Wilderness sign.
Borrowed a pair of poles from l&f.
Store needs AAAs. No spot.
