Myles & Amy,head chef and head cashier at Portal store, are going to spend 4 months in Patagonia for climbing huge rock walls and hiking various mountains.

Don't make your vacation too long or don't think about to explore other mountains.
Please come back on time for next summer season at Portal store.
If you don't,Crazy Jack and Crazy Richard may put their job applications at Portal store. Of course they have to take classes in public relationship and cooking skills.

We are looking forward to seeing your smiling faces very soon.
Have a great 4 months vacation in Patagonia and be safe.
Please bring back tons of pictures and stories.

Shin
P.S. Myles, did you fix your camera?

The camera is spanking new. Good old 16 optical zoom Lumix.
Lots of picture... Promise.

And we got the GoPro!!!!

I'm sorry Shin Amy and I won't be able to make it to your 300th. This is a very impressive feat by the way. I hope You and all the Friends have a great hike.

Jeff - All the good stuff was taken long ago and the rock quality is terrible in all those areas mentioned. But feel free to look around...

Well Doug if you are reading this - we are in San Diego. I'm on moms couch.
I can' t tell you how much We appreciate everything that your family has done for us.

Amy and I heading to Torres del Paineeeee!!! Because of the You(Doug) and Your Family, Thank you Thompsons and Friends!

Hi Myles & Amy,
Before you climb the big rock, please try Argentinian style BBQ and Russian salad if you have a chance. They are very good and tasty and give you ton of energy.
Have a great trip.

Few more hours and our feet will be in the sand!

Ahhh! We are finally on the bus to Chili. Well one of four buses to be exact. It will be about 2 in a half days sitting on our rumps.

We almost were not allowed on the bus out of Uruguay at Punta Del Diablo because of our bags being giant. Amy had some words to exchange with the driver then some private meeting took place, then the bags started flying in the cargo bay. One bus down three more to go....

Christmas was wild fireworks lite the sky and streets for an hour. Booms and explosions in every direction.... It was rad.

Dougs you readin' this?

Wish you all the best!
