Oh what the hell! I watched the video. They never even slept on the wall! When it got windy they went down! Of course it was windy on the ground.... Get on the wall and stay on the wall until you see the TRUE SUMMIT!

And I quote... "Turner said the team was satisfied to complete the wall, but of course unsatisfied they didn't reach the summit. "But," he added, "you don't ask all El Cap summiters, 'Did you really summit?'" "

Yes I even read the article.... Where is Amy, maybe she should talk to these "hard men"!

What's this...?

With some of the stuff they put up on their website, I wonder why they ignore us???

Yeah, a while back I asked them if they were interested in talking about a year on Whitney...

(Insert a loud chuckle about that one here!)

You should submit your stories to them!
If they don't publish them, I really start to wonder about the quality of their journalism.

But you got to give them bonus points for their patrician Euro accents’……it makes suffering sound so much more pleasant grin

btw, saw on Tommy Caldwell’s F/B that he ‘just booked tickets Patagonia’.
Myles/Amy, it would be cool if you could link up with Tommy and show how the ‘cook’ gets it done cool

They cheated! They took a style that was first used on the British Ascent of the Central Tower. My question is how much of the abonded rope on the wall did they use to haul their lazy butts up the wall.

Half the battle is getting all your crap on the wall and committing to the wall!

Funny, an editor from Climbing mag contacted me this morning about some dumb FA stuff I did. I told her to talk to you and Amy if she wanted a full issue's worth of "real" climbing tales. I'll let you know if I hear any more.

Happy Turkey Day, all.

Let's set up a donation or fund raising box for "Myles & Amy for Returning to Patagonia" at Portal store and Hostel next season.
The only condition of this is that Doug Sr. keeps a key to the box.
