Wait a minute - I don't own a jacket. So I'll bring more snacks to make up for it.

Doug, I believe you are referring to Wild Weather Betsy, bane of mountaineers.

Who cares if the weather is bad when Wild(Flower) Betsy is around... she's fun to sit around and talk with...

Cloudseeker only brings freak storms on the MR, I think. She brings sun, smiles, and cupcakes on the MT.

I'd like to be Sun Shining Betsy. My dermatologist can vouch for how much I like the sun! But really, sun, rain, or snow, it is a Blessing to be anywhere on the mountain! Happy hiking, Wild Flower Betsy

Looking at this morning's picture, it's beginning to look alot like winter in the Whitney zone - unless that white stuff is a mirage....

Hello to all my adventurous folk! Can someone give me an updated report on the current weather conditions on Whitney? I see that there is snow moving in and was planning on heading up Thanksgiving weekend to take on Whitney but it seems the weather may change my plans . Thanks

Two very dry winters in a row and someone is already whining that we are getting precip? We need all the snow/rain we can get this winter... let it snow, let it snow, let it snow...
