Nice design, like how it incorporates the whole experience, store and hostel. Richard, are you planning the Whitney Portal winter hostel up at LBSL?

So I received an off-line vote for a January 18-20 Igloo-building extravaganza. How about it? Shall we commit another thread to this?

I'm in, let's talk tools etc. I can see it now, an igloo village.

Yes.... please! smile Karin, you had mentioned it on Facebook, but I had a heck of a time finding the right thread (slap forehead - "of course... everyone would think to look in "New Web Design" for igloo-building information"!)

I'm just teasing, Karin... you know I love you!

This sounds SO fun! I think it DEFINITELY needs its own thread!

Loving the new site design Doug. I'm perusing it from down here in Mendoza, Argentina. I'm in between guiding two Aconcagua expeditions. Great stuff...

Now if we could get some good dumps of snow in the Sierra while I'm down here it'll be all set up for when I get home smile smile smile

Hi Thanks Kurt First storm we had snow in town and a solid blanket on the Inyo range and into the Death Valley ranges , last two systems high winds and little snow.

Latest weather forcast is another drought year, Sad for the Valley and the back country. We could have opened mid March last year road was dry but no one expected it to stay dry. Years past we would have snow/ice behind the store until mid June and shovel to get the store open by May 1.

I am liking the chopper portage ideal!!! Stay safe Thanks Doug
