I will probably add a hike for the 24th also. Something quick, like Tyndall or Barnard.

Well, Williamson on Friday was a casual affair...

(Edit to add, that yes, I'm actually serious about a Tyndall dayhike.)

We've never headed up either trail on Whitney as an official group hike.

As a TALA, I've been able to do it four weeks in a row, so that's my vote...

Hearing rumors that Winnedumah may be on the agenda... that would be cool, but we'll need some 4WD volunteers to get close enough to make it an "easier" hike.

Last edited by Richard P.; 09/27/14 02:32 PM. Reason: Maybe JM can haul up some climbing gear so we can get on top of it... if that isn't a sign of disrespect to the monument...

Want. Have 4WD and will travel to the Inyos :-). Probably wont know until the week before if my work schedule will allow for it though. Will keep a watchful eye here. Would be fun!

I'm supposed to be in Colorado that weekend but may not go. I have a 4WD truck that can be used regardless of whether I make it or not though.

Just curious Kurt. What climbing plans do you have for Colorado? Or are you going for some other reason?

If you climb respectfully the gods are always pleased.

(Winnedumah & Ummagumma? There's your weekend right there...)

It's not a climbing trip (unfortunately). I haven't been in Colorado to climb in WAY too long smile .

Hi Doug and everyone! I had SOOO hoped that I'd be able to make it down for the October get-together but I've got a commitment that I can't get out of (a god-awful in-law family drama) I can't TELL you how much I'd rather be on the mountain with friends. Jees, I miss you guys!

Have fun!! I'll be thinking of you all.... and wishing I was there smile
